Michalianna is a Post Production Sound Engineer for film and TV. Originally from Greece, she relocated to London back in 2011, where she started her studies on Music Technology at Kingston University, as an aspiring film composer. During her time there, she discovered sound design, which later lead her to apply and attend the National Film and Television School and acquire a Master's degree on Post Production Sound. 


Following her graduation, Michalianna moved to San Francisco to work as a sound engineer at Intel's in-house ad agency in Silicon Valley. In 2017, she returned to London and established herself as a freelance sound editor and mixer for film and TV. With experience in all areas of post production sound, such as dialogue editing, foley recording, sound design, music editing and re-recording mixing, her credits include projects that have appeared on Disney+, Meta, Channel 4, Sky, Amazon Prime, Vice, Udemy, the Cannes Film Festival, the London Film Festival, the Grierson Awards, the Underwire Film Festival and the BFI Flare. She currently works as a freelance Re-recording Mixer for Pinewood Studios, as well as a Sound Editor and Mixer for various independent productions. In June 2022 she was one of the Jurors on the Sound Panel for the RTS Awards.
